In 2012 Cenette Dippenaar ( a Professional Landscape Architect) was one of the founding directors of DesignNode. The design-supply of development and landscape related projects was a dream from the first business concept discussions that shaped this now dynamic development planning company.

During 2014 Erik Kotze (in school still) shadows Cenette for a day and she takes him to the Lilian Ngoyi Square project that was being constructed at that time. Erik continues to study Landscape Architecture at Tuks in 2016.

Enter Schalk Maree in 2019 ( who has been in the nursery and horticulturist business for the last 15 years), this was the start of the design-supply partnership that shaped NodeGroup. Schalk owns a sizable residential landscape maintenance business and operates and manages his large stock nurseries in Boschkop, just outside of Pretoria.

Erik Kotze ( a Landscape Architectural Technologist now)  re-enters the scene to join the DesignNode team in 2019.His passion for horticulture and implementation made him a great addition to the implementation and maintenance team at NodeGroup.

Our collective forms a group of landscape related design-supply and maintenance specialists.
